Ingredients:
1.5 oz. bourbon
2 oz. club soda
2 oz. apple cider
1/2 oz. pear sage syrup (see below)
Garnish with: pear slice and sage leaves to enhance the drink's aroma and appearance
Add equal parts water and sugar in small saucepan along with fresh sage sprigs. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce to simmer and add Pear Balsamic Vinegar to taste (approx. 1/4 cup at a time). If you add too much, you can add more sugar to balance the bitter taste. Turn off heat and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes. Strain and chill until ready to use. The syrup can be stored in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
